Improvements to be made on the Dixon Hall Facade at Elizabeth City State University. No interior or roof work required. Work includes but is not limited to:
- Installation of a new 4-inch brick veneer with 2-inch rigid insulation and a bituminous dampproofing system.
- Painting of existing pre-cast concrete panels and doors/frames to remain.
- Removal and replacement of concrete sections, tying new sections into existing footings.
- Modifications and relocation of mechanical elements such as louvers, ducts, and conduits to accommodate the new façade.
- Addition of new light fixtures and electrical adjustments to fit the updated exterior.
- Incorporation of a new metal coping system and adjustments to the drainage system with new steel pipe downspouts tied into the existing underground drain lines.
- Extension of existing footings and application of new materials for weatherproofing, insulation, and structural support.
