Our Core Values

Our Mission

We are committed to creating an environment that ensures the success of our company through the success of our employees.

Our Vision

To be a benchmark firm for the construction industry

Quality

Daniels and Daniels supports its customers and employees both in the field and in the office with quality services from initial estimates to project completion. Daniels and Daniels has not only built hundreds of quality buildings in the Carolinas, but we have forged a solid reputation as well.

There are three key aspects which will always define a successful construction project; exceptional quality, on time and delivery within budget. An effective Quality Control Plan (QCP) will contribute to all three of these areas. At Daniels and Daniels, we implement our QCP on all construction projects to accomplish these three goals:

  1. Ensure the highest level of quality from the start of the project.
  2. Provide documentation on the level of quality through inspections and acceptance testing.
  3. Reduce rework and therefore save money and time through the course of the project.

Sustainability

When the very elements of your work include stone, wood, clay, rock, and sand, we must recognize and appreciate that we are impacting and changing the landscape for future generations. At Daniels and Daniels we believe in doing as much as possible to incorporate sound building practices into everything we do.

That is why Daniels and Daniels is a LEED builder. LEED, or Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design was developed by the US Green Building Council (USGBC). This program redefined the way we all think about the places we live, work and learn. An internationally recognized mark of excellence, LEED provides the framework for Identifying and Implementing practical and measurable green building design, construction, operations and maintenance solutions.

Safety

“Safety is no Accident”

At Daniels and Daniels, we pride ourselves on consistently beating the national industry average for safety performance in construction, and are committed to ensuring all of our job sites meet or exceed OSHA standards. We have a solid reputation for safety in the construction industry, and have been recognized by several industry awards for our safety practices.

We have a full-time Safety Director who regularly inspects sites for safety compliance. Our Safety Director is a Manager of Environmental Safety and Health (MESH), a certification recognized by the Safety and Health Council of North Carolina, NC State University, and the NC Department of Labor. Our Safety Director stays up-to-date on changes to safety rules, regulations and practices to quickly and effectively implement the newest safety standards into our program.

We train all of our employees to follow OSHA rules and regulations. All our field superintendents are OSHA 30-hour certified, and we hold safety training both at our corporate office and in the field to ensure that our employees are building for our customers safely.

In July of 2015, we were recognized by the NCDOL’s Consultative Bureau as a SHARP Construction Company. The Safety & Health Achievement Recognition Program (SHARP) recognizes small businesses who have developed and maintain an exemplary injury and illness prevention program. We are proud to have been approved to be a part of this program and look forward to working with the Bureau to establish safe working conditions for all of our employees, subcontractors, and customers.
